As of September 5, 2023, we are excited to once again offer weeknight urgent care hours! Urgent care hours are available Monday through Friday from 6pm-8pm.
When should I seek Urgent Care?

- Injuries
- Hives / Allergic Reactions
- Toxin Ingestion
- It can be helpful to contact ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control for guidance on the best way to proceed when your pet ingests something harmful.

- Snake Bites
- Diarrhea / Vomiting
- Cuts and Bite Wounds
- Urinary Tract Infections

We strive to see patients as efficiently as possible while still providing the personal attention and excellence that clients that come to North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital have come to expect. All patients will be seen in the order they present to us, unless there is a pet with a life threatening problem. All patients will be triaged immediately to determine if they are able to wait for the doctor.
